"Chang’an Painting School" as a new art school in the 20th century in Chinese painting circles is also one of the most influential school in the development of art since the founding of New China. So far,it has cultivated a large number of outstanding artists who are well-known in Shaanxi Province and even in the w-hole nation. As a landscape painting artist in the 20th century,Fang Jizhong, one of the important members of the Chang’an School of Painting,is also the"transmitter"of the Chang’an Painting School.Fang Jizhong who had devoted himself to the innovation of Chinese painting throughout his life has made outstanding achievements in both the field of painting and art theory. In particular, his thoughts in his later years have a very important influence and enlightenment on the development of Chinese painting in Chang’an and even the whole country.Fang Jizhong not only enjoys a good reputation in the painting style of"Poetic Garden",but also stands out in the performance of landscape painting "point scene".Different from traditional landscape paintings.Fang Jizhong not only follows Zhao Wangyun’s expression skills, but also absorbs the characteristics of western landscape composition, and adopts literary anthropomorphism, symbolism, metaphor, and relies on freehand lyricism,at last constracts a unique new landscape pattern. As a constituent element of landscape painting,"point scene" is not a large proportion in the picture, but plays an important role in construction of the picture artistic conception, the balance of composition, the creation of the picture atmosphere and the prominence of the theme. The point scenes under Fang Jizhong’s pens are different from the painters of the same period in terms of the proportion of the style, the rhythm of the pen,and the layout of the space. In the landscape paintings of Fang Jizhong,we can clearly feel that the painter has consciously played down the performance of the main mountain rock.In his landscape paintings, there is no lofty sense of heavy rock stacks and soaring mountains, and there is no winding path, dense bamboo.Only some of poetic pastoral tenderness and exaggerated point scenes remain.Through the intensified performance, point scene highlights the artistic characteristics of Fang Jizhong’s landscape paintings, and conveys the unique poetic sentiments, traditional cultivation and life tastes. The style of simple, clear, fresh and natural and lyrical paintings become an indispensable element of the Fang Jizhong’s painting. This article will make a detailed discussion from the four chapters of point-scene landscape paintings.Firstly,it will focus on the artistic origins of Fang Jizhong’s point scene, and make a brief analysis of the environmental conditions that produce and form the point scene.Secondly, the types of landscapes of Fang Jizhong landscape paintings will be classified;the development of different types of point scenes will be briefly explained, and the emotional thoughts conveyed by the works will be analyzed. Then, according to the poetic artistic conception presented by his works will be analyzed and the form embodied in the landscape paintings will be explaned comprehensively and deeply. At last, the article will conclude with the enlightenment and influence of Fang Jizhong’s point-scene paintings on the development of contemporary landscape painting.
