Research On The Phenomenon Of Rural Cultural Backfeeding Under The New Media Environment

With the development of information and technologies,new media represented by WeChat began to enter the countryside.During this time,the young generation quickly could accept the ideas and behaviors which brought by the new media,while the old generation have been frustrated due to the cultural level and traditional experience.The traditional intergenerational transmission in the countryside has encountered difficulties and new intergenerational conflict have emerged.As a new pattern of cultural heritage,cultural reverse means that the old generation undergone a broad process of cultural absorption to the young generation in the era of rapid cultural change with a gentle and non-confrontation way to solve the above problems in rural families,having a wide-ranging impact in the new media environment.This paper takes 10 college students families in X Village of North China as the research object,using focus group interview and participatory observation to study the cultural reverse phenomenon in rural areas under the new media environment.To a certain extent,the research confirms the theory of Cultural Reverse Theory,and analyzes the universality,specific performance,the motivation of the offspring of the generations,the different attitudes of the intergenerational culture,and the influence of cultural reverse.It is found that the phenomenon of cultural reverse is widespread in rural families,and the cultural reverse in the new media field is the most obvious,which will promote cultural reverse in other fields.Cultural reverse has improved the life skills of the parents,eased the intergenerational contradictions in digital life,and built a more harmonious intergenerational relations.It has eliminated the parental authority of rural families and changed the way of cultural inheritance.However,this does not mean that the traditional top-down cultural inheritance pattern has been completely subverted,but the bottom-up culture is backed up in parallel with the original traditional way.
