| Hua’er is a folk song popular in Shanxi,Shaanxi,Gansu,Qinghai,Ningxia,Inner Mongolia and other places in China.It has a high voice and a long melody.When singing,it combines true and false sounds mostly.In 1953,Zhu Zhonglu,known as the Hua’er King,went to Lixian County,Gansu Province to collect folk songs.He listened to the shepherds sing a mountain song called Hua’er and wrote it down immediately.Later,he created the folk song Go to Sichuan adapted from this Hua’er.It is its profound local folk music style,simple and sincere feelings as well as its bright and broad melody that reflect the fundamental characteristics of the Loess Plateau folk songs.This paper takes Go to Sichuan as the object of study,and makes a deep analysis of its music text and singing skills,which is divided into four chapters.Chapter one elaborates the origin of Hua’er and Go to Sichuan from the angle of geography and history.Chapter two makes a musical analysis of Go to Sichuan from the aspects of musical structure and melody.Chapter three is the main chapter of this article,which analyzes the singing skills of Go to Sichuan.Chapter four further considers the inheritance and development of folk music through the elaboration of the first three chapters.Through careful research and detailed study of the folk song Go to Sichuan adapted from Hua’er,and by listening to the different singing styles as well as learning of the singers,the understanding and control of the inner feelings of the music and lyrics of Go to Sichuan have been deepened,the new understanding and experience of the voice and breath have been gained,and new reflections have been given to the inheritance and development of Chinese folk music. |
