Research On The Instrumentalization Of The Tune Of Sichuan Quyi Drum Music

Amid the trend that people focus on technique in instrumental performance,the art of instrumental music loses its nationality and regionalism.Yet the idea of the instrumentalization of operatic tune has added more nationalistic style of instrumental music,which is conducive to the inheritance and development of musical culture in China and simultaneously enriches the expressiveness of instrumental performance.Therefore,the “instrumentalization” is gradually advocated by insiders.This paper traces the origin of the idea of the instrumentalization of operatic tune with this idea as the argument.Within the range of a kind of quyi in Sichuan Province-drum music,it organizes the forms of performance of voiceless sound and dulcimer peculiar to Sichuan Province and the artistic features of operatic tune.With the music art –huqin as the carrier,it studies the relations between the instrumental music and operatic tune in development and enumerates the works concerned with the instrumentalization of Sichuan voiceless sound and Sichuan dulcimer.Also,it does case study to the application and reference of operatic tune in this kind of huqin music as well as the technique of cavity embellishment in instrumentalization of huqin music.Finally,it proves that the instrumentalization of operatic tune has a significant meaning on the inheritance of traditional national music as well as the innovation and performance of huqin music.The contents of the paper go as followed:Chapter One: The Development of the Instrumentalization of Operatic Tune.This chapter traces the origin of the Instrumentalization of Operatic Tune and demonstrates the relations between the instrumental music and operatic tune in development.Chapter Two: The Relations between the “Voiceless Sound” and Instrumental Music in Huqin Music.This chapter pries into the embryo of instrumentaization from the emergency and development of Sichuan voiceless sound.Also,it enumerates huqin music derived from operatic tune of Sichuan voiceless sound and makes analysis on songs from various levels such as its creation background,the innovation of songs and the application of operatic tune.Chapter Three: The Research of Huqin Music Related to the Instrumentalization of Sichuan Dulcimer.This chapter makes analysis on the huqin music derived from the performing form of Sichuan dulcimer and the names of the instrumental music.Chapter four: The Meaning of the Instrumentalization of Operatic Tunes in Sichuan Quyi.It discusses the significance of the “instrumentaliztion of operatic tunes” from the inheritance of Sichuan quyi and the creation as well as the performance of huqin music.Moreover,it demonstrates the influence of musical language with nation tune on musical style,the technique of tune embellishment and musical expression in performance of instrumental music.
