Chen Shu's Painting Research

As a female painter who was the most painted by the court collection in the Qing Dynasty,Chen Shu regarded her palace experience as a political means of reconciling the relationship between the monarch and the minister,overemphasizing the senior official status of her eldest son Qian Chenqun.The author tries to correct this point of view,that Chen Shu’s artistic achievements and his virtues are important reasons for his social status.This article focuses on Chen Shu’s painting research,based on Chen Shu’s specific paintings,accompanied by Chen Shi’s life style and life stories,restores the character’s character taste,and is committed to the patriarchal genre,cause,and right of her paintings.The family’s influence is analyzed in detail.In the study of Chen Shu’s flower and bird paintings,Chen Chun,who is the patriarchal figure clearly pointed out in his inscription,compares and analyzes her own paintings,and combines the background of the era of flower and bird painting prosperity in the 18 th century.It points out the influence of the style of the paintings of the Dynasties on her paintings,such as the relationship between the flowers and birds and the paintings of Chen Shu.In the landscape paintings,the author combines Chen Shu’s inscriptions and poems,emphasizing Chen Shu’s cultural literacy and her creation.influences.The author also pointed out that Chen Shu,as a rare female painter who can travel far away,combines her unique artistic sensibility and picture processing method into the uniqueness of literati painting.In the character painting,the author intends to praise Chen Shu’s skillful use.The figure paintings in Chinese paintings have the characteristics of strong spirituality,and the family style and virtues are retained by the "painting power" in later generations.Finally,based on Chen Shu’s artistic achievements,the author elaborates on the influence of Qian’s art family.This paper explains and sorts out Chen shu’s attitude towards painting and the spiritual content contained in her pictures,as well as the connection from her family tradition,and explains Chen shu’s unique existence in the qing dynasty and its influence on people of the current age.
