The Creation Of The Documentary "Kong Lou Acrobatics"

The documentary,Konglou Acrobatics,is a visual documentary creation.It revolves around the traditional folk skills of Acrobatics and takes the deaf-mute children learning in Konglou Acrobatics School as a target.And the school is located in Konglou Village,Daye Town,Juye County,Heze City,Shandong Province.Furthermore,this documentary subjects to record the acrobatic training of the deaf-mute children in order to arouse people ’ s care and thinking about the disadvantaged groups.Most of the children who study acrobatics in Konglou Village’s Acrobatic School are deaf-mute,and most of their family conditions are not very good.Konglou Acrobatic School does not charge any professor fees for these deaf students and offers language rehabilitation courses,which aiming at helping deaf-mute children learn basic language conversations and general knowledge lessons.However,this behavior has been misunderstood by some people who believe that free teaching in schools may have other purposes.Through a lot of field investigations,this paper has collected a large amount of relevant materials from the local government and cultural centers.What’s more,by watching many related literature and documentaries,this paper shows the group of deaf-mute of learning acrobatics from various angles such as cultural background,school status,training status,learning status,and future feelings.This paper expanding narrative mainly focuses on the creative practice of the documentary and is divided into the following five parts through the analysis method combining theory and practice.The first part is a brief analysis of the background,value and research status of the documentary’s topic selection.Besides,this part expresses the original intention of shooting Konglou Acrobatics.The second part is the elaboration of the creative background and realistic background of the documentary as well as the preparation process of the preliminary research including the theme,characters,story background,etc.The third part is the mid-term shooting process,which explain the process of shooting equipment,venue,composition and character interviews in detail.The fourth part takes audiovisual language and artistic characteristics as a perspective describing the process of post-editing,and elaborates the editing points,music,and pictures of the documentary.The fifth part is a summary of the paper and the documentary,and sets forth the future expectations according to the key and difficult points in working,the value and significance of the documentary and the shortcomings of the documentary.
