A Comparative Study Of The Character Theory In The Commentary Of "A Dream Of Red Mansions" By Hasibao And Zhi Yanzhai

This paper makes a comparative study on the theory of character in the comments on A Dream of Red Mansions by Hasboo and Zhi Yanzhai.As we all know,Hasboo and Zhi Yanzhai have similar social status,both of them are feudal aristocratic literati,but when they comment on the characters of A Dream of Red Mansions,the humanistic concepts expressed are very different.At present,the research on the comparison of characters in A Dream of Red Mansions between Hasboo and Zhi Yanzhai is not yet in-depth.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to start with the comments on the same image of A Dream of Red Mansions by Hasboo and Zhi Yanzhai,and to sum up the similarities and differences of their humanistic and social views at the same time.On this basis,the author thinks that Hasboo is more positive in thought than Zhi Yanzhai.This paper consists of three parts:introduction,text(chapter 1,chapter 2,chapter 3,chapter 4)and summary.The main contents are from Hasboo and Zhi Yanzhai to the upper male characters(Jia Baoyu,Xue Pan,Jia Zheng)and female characters(Lin Daiyu,Xue Baochai,Wang Xifeng)and lower female characters(Hua Xiren,Liu Laolao,Jin Yuanyang)is compared and analyzed.It is concluded that Hasboo has not read Zhi Yanzhai comments to a large extent,and there is no possibility of imitation or plagiarism in the comments.In addition,some viewpoints put forward by Hasbro in the analysis of characters are more prominent than those of Zhi Yanzhai(including other commentators),which proves that Hasboo is a Mongolian literati with his own unique views and advanced ideas.
