Based on the historical situation of the fall of Hong Kong after the outbreak of the Pacific War,this article explores the process of returning to Guilin for the promotion of artistic and artistic changes in the new international situation formed after the fall of Hong Kong.In the process of this transformation, competition and cooperation between the media is also a problem that cannot be ignored.Under the influence of Mao Zedong’s "Fan Dui Dang Ba Gu",the Guilin drama industry put forward the requirements of the realist art form at the "New Situation and New Art"symposium on February 18,1942,and proposed the concept of creating a "new air of art." In the subsequent Ye Qianyu’s solo exhibition, the artist also had a clear realism tendency in the "Escape from Hong Kong" group painting, reflecting that this "new air" began to ferment in the art world. In the same year,in the ""Qui Ning Jun Qi Yu Ji",edited by Ye Qianyu, the art world officially launched a discussion on "content and form".This discussion shows that the artist began to care for the future of the country under the new international situation. The transformation of artistic language is combined. The “Hong Kong’s Suffering” exhibition, which was finally presented through such a language change, shows the result of this language change—that is,more effective political mobilization of the target audience.
