"Shan Hai Jing" Witchcraft Thinking Research

The text of "Shan Hai Jing" is awkward and difficult to read.It is more difficult to read than Shang Shu,and the content is more illogical.The difficulty of understanding is the most ancient emotions are transformed into actions,so they have behaviors and records that seem unbelievable today.Therefore,using witchcraft thinking to explore the relevant records in Shan Hai Jing,there is a trace of understanding the absurdity in Shan Hai Jing.This article mainly consists of the hereinafter four parts:The first part mainly discusses the relationship between witchcraft and medical treatment in the ancient times,the use of witchcraft in medicinal planting minerals in Shan Hai Jing.First of all,starting from the group witches in "Shan Hai Jing",to clarify the relationship between Wu Peng and the origin of medicine;combined with the literature of Oracle,ancient books and other documents to restore the development track of both witchcraft and medicine.Then,the relationship between medicinal planting minerals and witchcraft in Shan Hai Jing was discussed.The planting minerals in Shan Hai Jing are divided into two categories:medical use and witchcraft.In witchcraft,according to the principle of application,it is mainly divided into two types:homeopathic witchcraft and anti-witchcraft.The homeopathic witchcraft method is mainly used to help women conceive,help cattle and horses to walk,help capacity,treat skin diseases and prevent diseases.The anti-witching rules are mainly divided into two types:the same system and the binary resistance.Among them,there is a strong sense of suppression.The analysis of witchcraft uses can roughly outline the primitive thinking of ancient humans using witchcraft to cure diseases.The second chapter mainly discusses the prophecies of birds and beasts in Shan Hai Jing.Predictive birds and beasts are mainly divided into three categories:auspicious,catastrophic,and defensive.The number of birds and animals which belong to catastrophic is much more than the other two categories.These parts are mainly used to predict floods,droughts,troops,fires,windstorms,national unrest and diseases.Defensive birds and beasts are mainly used to prevent fires,evil spirits and military disasters.Among them,the use of the strange shapes and sounds of birds and beasts to develop associations is the use of the wrong causal law,it expresses the original desire of human beings to use witchcraft to avoid evil.The third chapter mainly discusses some witchcraft myths in the Haihe section of Shan Hai Jing.The content of witchcraft mythology is all-encompassing,and it also reflects all aspects of ancient life:Hanba,Nvchou,Yinglongs’ models are mostly used for rain witchcraft,people pray for good weather;In the ancient society,people were shrouded in the shadow of death,and thus they were extremely cautious in life and death.It is derived from the witchcraft that prays for longevity,the witchcraft that cautiously punishes,and the spiritual ritual derived from the concept of resurrection.People are afraid that the sun and the moon are not normal,so Xihe use the water to help the sun run normally;People are afraid of evil spirits,so the platform of the emperor is used to defeat witchcraft.So far,The myth has been exaggerated and distorted,but the interpretation of ancient mythology with witchcraft thinking can reflect the hunger for the good weather and healthy longevity in the difficult life of the ancient humans in the sinister environment.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the witchcraft thinking in the mountain worship ceremony in Shan Hai Jing.People are in awe of nature,especially the heavens and mountains that are unattainable in nature.People think,the heavens and mountains are the source of supernatural power.Therefore,the original ceremony of offering the mountain appeared.Firstly,we will explore the sacrificial dance in the ritual ceremony to clarify the change of the identity of the sorcerer.In the early days,the wizard was appointed by the secular king,and then gradually became professional.Then,summarize the image of each mountain god to find the shadow of witchcraft in the choice of imagery when shaping the image of the mountain god,The image of birds and dragons reflects people’s yearning for longevity;the imagery of cattle and horses is a reflection of people’s emphasis on farming life;the image of snakes means power.Finally,The analysis of the rituals used in the rituals,the rituals is mainly based on sacrifices,jade,cereals,liqueur and blood,They can reflect the characteristics of God and people communication.The witchcraft thinking in the rituals of the rituals was reverted.
