Nuo ceremony in Sui and Tang Dynasties is a small part in many national sacrificial rites,and it is a collective participation behavior of "the whole people's ensemble".This paper has a general purpose to explore the ritual and music situation of Nuo ceremony in Sui and Tang Dynasties.Through the official court,state and county of Nuo ceremony,and unofficial country of Nuo,the whole country is organized from top to bottom according to the human-made rule,trying to understand the significance of the combination of the formal etiquette and the metaphysical belief in ghosts and gods.Based on the inheritance of exorcism,this paper points out that the Exorcism in Sui and Tang Dynasties has different characteristics in different stages,and it is also a linear whole.The content of each chapter is as follows:In chapter one,the concepts related to sorcery,exorcism and rites are analyzed from the source,and the development of exorcism rites in the court and the people before the Sui dynasty is briefly sorted out to understand the dynamic development process of exorcism rites.The second chapter analyzes the etiquette features of different stages of palace big exorcism ceremony in Sui and Tang dynasties,and shows the grand occasion of palace music and dance performance when exorcising exorcism on New Year's eve,as well as the cultural basis for the existence of palace exorcism ceremony.The third chapter compares and analyzes the similarities and differences between county ceremony and court ceremony of from the aspects of etiquette scale,musicians and instrument use.The particularity and performance characteristics of Dunhuang exorcism ceremony are also analyzed.The fourth chapter,the Sui and Tang dynasties of rural exorcism as a custom,freedom,flexibility is its essence,this chapter focuses on the analysis of the relationship between rural exorcism ceremony and folk custom.Chapter five extends the inheritance of exorcism rites in the song dynasty in the tang dynasty,analyzes the influence on Korea and Japan,and discusses the basis of the existence of exorcism rites in the Sui and Tang dynasties from the social and psychological perspectives,and explains the value and significance of the exorcism rites in the Sui and Tang dynasties.In terms of the writing method,the author takes the continuity of exorcism rites as the Canon,and the whole situation of exorcism rites in the Sui and Tang dynasties as the weir,analyzes and describes the performance characteristics of exorcism rites in different social classes in the Sui and Tang dynasties,and pays attention to the characteristics of exorcism rites in the overall social development.In the face of the epidemic,we can now establish a system of "self-security".In ancient times,people would also adopt the exorcism behavior that was considered feasible to fight against the challenge of nature to life.Nuo ceremony,with its own value,embodies the spiritual feelings of human life consciousness,transcends the boundaries between regions,ethnic groups and religions,and continues for thousands of years.Now it is retained as an "intangible cultural heritage".
