Research On The Tombs Of The Tagal Culture In The Tombs Of Tepesi

Tagar culture is an early nomadic archaeological culture that occupies an important position in the early Iron Age of Southern Siberia.This thesis took the burial materials of the Tepcei Cemetery as the research object and made a comprehensive review of the 106 tomb relics during the Tagar culture period,then divided it into two basic types as Single Tomb(37 graves)and Kurgan(20 Kurgans,cover 68 graves).Based on the analysis of the evolution of tomb features and the division of tombs into groups,combining the analysis of the types of funeral products and the combination of funeral products,this thesis staged the remains and discussed the changes in every stage,and finally also discussed the sources of cultural factors and the composition of the people in the tombs.The thesis mainly includes six parts as following:Part 1: Introduction.This part briefly introduces the research object and the space-time framework background of the archaeological culture,defines the conceptual issues involved in this article,then briefly reviews and summarizes the archaeological discoveries and research history at home and abroad,and clarifies the research ideas and research value of this article.Part 2: Overview of Tepcei Cemetery and the material.This part introduces the discovery and excavation of the Tepesi Cemetery.According to the different characteristics of the tomb’s form,the relevant tomb materials are divided into Single tomb and Kurgan which would be briefly described.Part 3: Type analysis of funerary objects and staging.According to the different functions of funerary objects,they are divided into pottery,decorations,tools and weapons,while their types are analyzed.Combining theevolution of the burial customs and the characteristics of the funeral products,the remains are divided into two periods,which include four stages.Part 4: Division and grouping of tombs.According to the distribution of different types of tombs,the tombs obviously distribute in three partitions: south,middle and north areas.According to different characteristics of burial tools,tomb direction and the number of the dead,the tombs in each district are initially discussed into 6 groups.Part 5: Discussion on related issues.With a comprehensive comparison of other materials related to the cemetery,it analyzes the source of the Tagar culture in Tepcei,as well as the source and evolution of cultural factors at different stages.Combined with the grouping and stage of tombs,the group’s composition and staged development of tombs were discussed.Part 6: Conclusion.A conclusion of this research,with some more rethink.
