Research On Mao Zedong's Thought Of Serving The People

Serving the People is the core of the party’s political ethics,which embodies the party’s governing concept,fundamental purpose and value orientation.It is also the core of civil moral construction,which marks the direction of socialist moral development.Although our country has entered a new era,some organizations and individuals have "desalination" phenomena in their ethical thoughts and moral behaviors of serving the people.In this context,it is of great practical significance to study Mao Zedong’s thought of serving the people deeply and systematically.In this paper,literature research,logical analysis and other methods are used,it systematically analyzes the formation logic and main connotation of Mao Zedong’s thought of serving the people.Research shows,the formation of the thought of serving the people is a combination of Chinese and western.It was formed and developed on the basis of Mao Zedong’s critical absorption of Chinese traditional ethics and creative inheritance of Marxist Leninist political ethics.It has laid a solid ideological foundation and provided scientific theoretical guidance for the construction of modern political ethics and social ethics in China.Mao Zedong’s ethical thought of serving the people contains rich ideological connotation.It not only defines the subject and object of service,but also constructs the organization carrier,political carrier and social carrier,and puts forward the specific practice path,that is,understanding and helping the masses,believing and relying on the masses,and accepting the supervision of the masses.This ethical thought has important theoretical value and practical significance.In theory,it enriches Marxist ethics,sublimates Chinese traditional ethics and establishes the direction of socialist moral development.In practice,it has played an extremely important role in the Chinese revolution and construction.In the period of the Chinese revolution,the thought of serving the people not only made clear the moral ideal and goal of the revolution led by the party and its leaders,but also gathered the strength of the masses of the people,thus winning the victory of the Chinese revolution,winning the independence of the nation and the complete liberation of the people.In the periodof socialist construction,the thought of serving the people not only promotes the construction and prosperity of socialist moral culture,but also consolidates and develops the people’s democratic regime and promotes the rapid development of economic society.In the new era,based on the research and Enlightenment of Mao Zedong’s thought of serving the people,we should regard the people’s service as the eternal task of the party’s construction,the lifelong task of Party members,cadres and even all citizens.We will focus on strengthening the construction of political ethics and social morality with the people’s service ideology at the core.We will make serving the people the highest ethical standard and moral pursuit of all Party members,cadres and the whole society,and in the moral practice of serving the people,create social value,realize the value of life,and provide strong impetus for the realization of the great cause of national rejuvenation.
