Due to its uniqueness,complexity and flexibility,compound directional complement has always been a focus in the study of Chinese grammar and also a major difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Compound directional complement words "qi lai" and "xia lai" are used by foreign students frequently.Based on the collection and analysis of HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus and other research literature materials,the author finds that students in the use of compound directional complement words such as "qi lai" and "xia lai" frequently make mistakes,and feel confused in different ways.Based on compound directional complement words "qi lai" and "xia lai" as the research object,this paper selects the interlanguage corpus of the two words in HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus as the analysis corpus,according to the conclusions of the cause of errors,it puts forward the targeted teaching suggestions,so as to help students correct acquisition and decrease the rate of errors,which is conducive to teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Besides the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into five chapters.The introduction explains why it chooses such a research topic,sums up the research contents and methods,summarizes the ontological research related to the topic of this paper and the research results of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and explains the source of corpus and selection criteria.The first chapter conducts a Chinese ontology analysis on compound directional complement words "qi lai" and "xia lai".In fact,this chapter is on the basis of previous research,combined with the example and verb classification standards in the the Beijing Language and Culture University BCC corpus,CNcorpus,and General Compound Directional Complement.Through analysis,it sums up the similarities and differences of the two words "qi lai" and "xia lai" in the aspect of semantic and syntactic structure.In the second chapter,the author makes a statistical analysis of the interlanguage corpus of the two words,sorts out the collocation categories and usage frequency of them,On the basis of ontology analysis,it has error analysis,summarizes the type and rate of error,and then,it can analyze the reason on the error.There are five types of errors,among which addition error is the most and substitution error is the second.On this basis,the reasons for bias are investigated,which are divided into five types,including negative transfer of mother tongue,negative transfer of target language knowledge,avoidance strategies used by foreign students,poor classroom explanation and practice by teachers,and inadequate textbook arrangement.Chapter Three puts forward constructive suggestions on teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In accordance with above analysis,it puts forward related teaching strategies from the a spects of teaching,textbook,and students,nine advice in total.In the conclusion,the author sorts out and summarizes the research ideas and contents of this paper,and reflects on the shortcomings of the paper,and points out further research direction in the future.
