This paper carries out an in-depth analysis of the musical form and rhythm based on the first chapter of Violin Concerto in D Major,which was composed by Johannes Brahms.It provides a basis for this dissertation’s further research on textual meaning.Through description and comparison among three out-standing performers’ individual life experience,living surroundings and wider social environment of Itzhak Perlman,David Oistrakh,and Kyung-Wha Chung,this paper seeks to unveil the causes of their distinctive performing styles.Meanwhile,integrating the analysis above into the whole paper,I strive to discover the similarities and differences among the performers and aim to locate the causes and reasons behind.This dissertation is also in hope of providing approach to understanding music theory of related composition for authors.
