Description Of The Creation Of "Confused" Graduation Work

Surrealism is an important art genre in 20 th century France,which has exerted profound influence on the spiritual world and life style of westerners.Surrealist painting language has great charm and appeal.Different from other art forms,surrealist painting emphasizes that the reality controlled by reason and logic is not real,and only the combination of dream and reality is the absolute reality,so as to arouse the resonance of the audience and the essential problem of metaphor.This unique artistic creation technique gives me a lot of inspiration for creation,which makes the picture seemingly contradictory but actually has rich artistic connotation,so that the audience can have a different visual experience when appreciating the painting.This paper mainly expounds the research and reference of surrealist painting language and creative ideas in my graduation creation.Through the study and study of the surrealist painting schools,the surrealistic techniques of symbolism and metaphor are used to present social problems and express the real feelings in one’s heart.In terms of the choice of subject matter,the author’s works reflect the difficulties and obstacles encountered by contemporary young people in the cultural exchange between China and the west.In terms of the selection of painting style,I draw on the painting styles of surrealist artists such as Dali,Margaret and kirico and create my own graduation works with the combination of Chinese painting elements.In terms of performance techniques,I learned from the painting style of li guijun,a Chinese contemporary oil painter,mainly based on realistic techniques.In the choice of composition,the work USES surrealist techniques to arrange the characters,animals,geometric figures and other elements in the picture in a "patchwork" composition,presenting an unreal scene and subverting the traditional concept of space.The work is a metaphor for social problems and an expression of his longing for a better life.The paper is divided into three chapters: the first chapter mainly expounds my research achievements in surrealist painting in the early stage of creation and the inspiration of surrealist painting style to my graduation works.The second chapter mainly expounds the creation process of graduation works,from determining the theme and material collection to composition form and color exploration.This paper focuses on the research and application of techniques and the shaping process of picture image,and finally the effect of picture expression.The third chapter is my study and reference of surrealist painting characteristics and my experience after creation.The content of the work is unconstrained and not lack of thinking.The title of the work "confusion" is not only an expression of my own feelings,but also the first attempt to combine the effect of surrealistic painting dreams with traditional Chinese art.
