| Attention bias to addiction information is considered to be one of the core characteristics of addiction symptoms,and has a predictive effect on the judgment of addiction or not and the prediction of addiction after withdrawal.The research on attention bias found that internet gaming disorders have attention bias towards game-related information and negative information.Adolescence is a critical period for individual development.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the phenomenon of attention bias of online game players.However,there are still many unanswered questions in the current research :(1)the development of online game addiction in adolescents and its relationship with negative emotions is unclear.(2)the cognitive mechanism of online game addiction is still unclear.(3)the relationship between attention bias and game addiction is unclear.To sum up,this study mainly focuses on the following questions :(1)the development status of online game addiction among teenagers.(2)the attention bias of online game players to games-related and negative information in teenagers.In the first study,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 371 junior high school students to investigate the development status of online game addiction among teenagers and to screen subjects for follow-up experiments.Young’s Internet addiction questionnaire and Cui lijuan’s online game addiction questionnaire were used to measure the use of games.DASS-21 questionnaire was used to measure the levels of psychological symptoms such as anxiety and depression.The results show that :(1)Among teenagers,about 4.85 percent are addicted to online games.(2)the degree of online game addiction is positively correlated with anxiety,depression and stress levels.In study 2,21 heavy gamers,21 casual gamers and 30 non-gamers were selected as subjects to explore the attention bias of adolescent gamers of different degrees to game-related information.The study was divided into two sub-experiments,which respectively used the addictive Stroop paradigm and the method of dot-probe combined with eye movement tracking technology to explore the attention bias characteristics of game players of different degrees.The results of the first experiment found that: at the time level,gamers of different degrees do not have attention bias to game-related information.The results of experiment 2 found that the gaze duration and total fixation time of heavy gamers and casual gamers on game-related pictures were significantly longer than those on non-game-related pictures,and attention bias of game-related information appeared on the spatial level.In the third study,dot-probe paradigm combined with eye movement technology was used to investigate the attention bias of different levels of gamers towards negative information.The results showed that heavy gamers have a attention bias towards negative emotional information,especially the negative faces of real characters,but it is not specific.Both non-gamers and casual gamers have similar attention bias.Under the conditions of this study,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Among teenagers,about 4.85 percent are addicted to online games.(2)the degree of online game addiction is positively correlated with anxiety,depression and stress.(3)heavy gamers have game-related attention bias at the spatial level,but they are not specific.(4)heavy game players have attention bias to negative information,especially the real negative character faces,but there is no specificity. |
