A Study On The Transformation Of The Mode Of Old-age Care In The Community Of Rural Residents In The Process Of Urbanization

Since 1999,China has entered an aging society.The trend of aging in the next 20 years will increase.According to statistics,China is one of the fastest growing countries in the world with an aging population.At the same time,the rapid advancement of urbanization has led to a sharp increase in land demand,the imbalance between supply and demand appear obviously,and a large amount of rural land is being used for urbanization.Large numbers of farmers have been forced into town,and the issue of farmers affected by land acquisition has received extensive attention.Transferring farmers is an important measure to promote urbanization of the population,and it is also an inevitable trend of population evolution.At present,due to the institutional ambiguity and fragmentation,the landless peasants lost their original livelihoods and pension resources after they moved,and as lack of pension accumulation,they will be in a predicament.This study searched,combed and analyzed domestic and overseas research results about the old-age support and support patterns.The study also deeply analyzed problems and challenges of the old-age support brought by the current urbanization development process in China,and put forward the main problems which need to be resolved first in transformation of the old-age support patterns in community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants.At the same time,on the basis of sufficient questionnaire research work of a selected community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants named Nan Gucheng,the study mastered specific and accurate needs and wishes for elderly care services of the old people.Besides,by learning from the experiences of domestic and overseas advanced practical experience,the study finally comes up with a diversified old-age support model which is appropriate for those community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants.The diversified old-age support model's characters can be summarized by “relying on the community,taking living at home as the principal thing,related organization is X complementary,combination of medical treatment and endowment,mutual help and keep”.The community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants is one particular outcome of the era development and urbanization.Different with those ordinary communities,community of this type have some specific characters from both of city and countryside.Related study about community of this type is relatively few.Through combination with a case study,the study has carried on the positive exploration about the old-age support patterns for the community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants.The study provides a reference and supplement for research about endowment pattern of community of this type.At the same time,this study comes up with a diversified old-age support model which is applicable to the community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants under background of the urbanization process in China.This output has certain theoretical innovation significance.It can help provide theoretical reference for how to alleviate the elderly care pressure of the community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants and better serve the multi-level needs of the elderly.The paper includes seven parts.The first part is the introduction.Through referring to the literature material and reviewing the pension research of the domestic and foreign.This paper points out the urgency of the pension of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants and puts forward the research ideas and research methods about this study.The second part introduces the theoretical basis for the research and defines related key concepts.The third part,this paper puts forward the main problem of transformation of the old-age pension mode of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants,by analyzing the necessity and feasibility.At present,the pension of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants should focus on these problems,for example,the weakening of the function of family pension,the insufficient supply of social pension and the service quality of the old-age.The fourth part,this paper selects the old-ages of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants who are typical of the transitional urbanization process in the urbanization process and urban retired workers as comparative research samples.Through questionnaires,statistical analysis,and interviews,this paper finds out the true needs and wishes of the old-ages of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants by researching these aspects of the economic conditions,taking care of the old-ages,spiritual comfort and so on.Based on the true needs and wishes of the old-ages of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants,this paper lays solid foundation to establish realistic basis for the transformation of the community pension model.The fifth part,mainly through literature study and visiting survey,this paper lists the pension services of advanced ideas,successful experience and the vivid practice of some foreign countries which include United States,Britain,Japan and domestic regions which include Beijing,Shanghai,Taiwan,Nanjing in order to provide support for building the pension model of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants.The sixth part,based on the basic situation of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of five major pension patterns in the current society,this paper puts forward construction of the diversified old-age support model of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants.Based on community,this diversity pension model is a comprehensive pension mode which rely on the establishment of the home,the institution as the supplement,the medical care and the mutual support and the mutual support.And then this paper put forward transformation path for the diversified old-age support model of community of the urban residents transferred from the peasants in six aspects which include establishing diversified community endowment service information platform establishing the elderly care needs assessment standards,improving the system of various types of insurance,scientific planning,establishing a perfect community diversity endowment facilities,developing wisdom pension project and speeding up the service for the old talent training of farmers.The seventh part,this paper summarizes the research methods,research ideas,research process and conclusions of the thesis,and finally points out the direction of the next research.
