Judges' performance evaluation is an important way to carry out trial management,and it is a basic work for measuring the process and results of the operation of trial rights.For a long time,the People's Court has carried out a lot of management practices around this work and accumulated rich material,but it is also in the scope of work,work philosophy,work body,work procedures,system design,standards setting,results application,technical support,knowledge learning,etc.In the face of many problems.In order to further deepen the comprehensive reform of the judicial system,fully implement the judicial responsibility system,and vigorously promote the soundness and perfection of the evaluation mechanism for judges' performance,this paper is based on a comprehensive review of the laws and policies on which this reform is based,and highlights issues that are highlighted in practice.In-depth analysis was conducted and suggestions for improvement were made with operability.Based on this article is divided into four parts:The first part first sorts out the development of judge performance evaluation system in China at present,and defines related basic concepts.The second part,on the basis of consulting a large number of laws,regulations,and policies,outlines the trajectory of the relevant evaluation ideology and spirit.The third part analyzes the existing problems in the performance evaluation of judges from four aspects.The fourth part proposes corresponding countermeasures for the related problems.
