On February 4,2013,the Ministry of Education issued the "Professional Standard for Principals of Compulsory Education Schools",for the first time six professional responsibilities such as planning school development,building education culture,leading course teaching,leading teacher growth,optimizing internal management,to adapt the external environment were explicitly proposed.The role of the leader of curriculum teaching as the principal was clearly put forward,and the leadership of this related principal curriculum has also entered the field of vision of the researcher,become a hot area for curriculum leadership research.The current research mainly focuses on the connotation of the principal's curriculum leadership,the principal components of the principal's curriculum leadership,the empirical research on the principal's curriculum leadership,and the strategic research to enhance the principal's curriculum leadership,but it is still in its infancy,and the real research results are few.There is a lack of research concerning the curriculum leadership of secondary school principals.Therefore,this article uses the literature analysis method,the case study method and the interview method to carry on the research to the following several aspects,the purpose is to promote the elementary and middle school curriculum reform and perfects the principals to the school curriculum teaching leadership.The first part: To expound the reasons for the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,introduced the research ideas and methods,summarized the research on the curriculum leadership of the principals at home and abroad,and It further defines the core concepts of the principal's curriculum leadership.The second part: Introduces distributed leadership theory and role leadership theory,and deeply analyzes the components and necessity of principals' curriculum leadership.The third part: A brief introduction of Weifang G Middle School,summarizing the basic situation of Principal Z and G Middle School as well as the current status and effectiveness of G Middle School's curriculum construction.To explained Principal Z's experience in implementing curriculum leadership,to introduce the importance of curriculum top-level design,leading the development of school curriculum characteristics,strengthening the implementation of curriculum monitoring,and improving the construction of school curriculum quality;innovating curriculum evaluation methods and changing curriculum reform concepts and curriculum construction experience.The fourth part: According to the experience of the Principal Z and the related theoretical research mentioned above,the strategy for improving the leadership of middle school principalsis proposed,that is,keeping up with the pace of reforms,updating the concept of leadership;promoting the professional development of principals,enriching the knowledge of curriculum leadership;and building a curriculum research community.Improving the leadership of the curriculum;Adhering to reforms and innovations and strengthening course leadership research.
