The excellent traditional Chinese culture is the spiritual lifeblood of the Chinese nation and the fertile soil for the continuous growth and development of the Chinese nation.School education has the responsibility to spread Chinese excellent traditional culture.But due to various reasons,traditional cultural education in rural junior high schools focuses more on the formality,and there are even many drawbacks.From the perspective of Chinese teaching of rural middle school in northern Jiangsu,this paper is a case study which is based on the author's work in Jinhu,Huai'an.Also,it combines with the author's own teaching experience,excellent teaching cases and famous teachers' teaching strategies in order to come up with some practical advice and reflection on emphasizing the traditional culture in the Chinese teaching.This paper mainly discusses from the following aspects.In the introduction part,the paper analyses the research background,current situation and significance.Facing with the fierce cultural competition and the moral decline of the Chinese people,we must attach importance to the traditional culture education,and thus eliminate this bad phenomenon by implementing and strengthening the traditional culture education for rural middle school students.The first chapter is about the current situation of traditional culture in the Chinese teaching of rural middle schools.Firstly,it explains the relationship between Chinese teaching and traditional culture.Chinese teaching is the carrier of inheriting and developing traditional culture.Traditional culture enriches the content of Chinese teaching.Secondly,it illustrates the objectives,contents and the requests of traditional culture in middle school Chinese teaching.Thirdly,this chapter introduces the present situation of rural education in northern Jiangsu from three aspects:the lack of family education,the utilitarianism of school education and the negative influence of the society.Through the investigation of the present situation of traditional culture teaching in Lvliang Middle School in Jinhu,Huai'an and the investigation of rural Chinese teachers in other rural areas in Jinhu,this paper objectively reflects their embarrassing circumstances of traditional culture in the Chinese teaching.The second chapter is about discussing the specific implementation strategies of traditional culture education in rural middle school Chinese teaching.First,explore the traditional culture in teaching materials and finds out the relationship between Chinese teaching and traditional culture.Secondly,immerse the traditional culture into Chinese teaching by stimulating students' interests,innovating teaching modes and integrating teaching materials.Thirdly,the paper conducts the research on the way to carry out various activities to continue the study of traditional culture by doing extra-curricular reading of classical and traditional culture,and watching traditional cultural programs.Fourthly,strengthen the influence of traditional culture through different decorations of traditional culture,the activities of school associations,the compilation and use of school-based curriculum.Fifthly,experience the traditional culture in life by getting familiar with traditional festivals,local customs,traditional crafts,myths and legends.The third chapter is the summary and reflection of traditional culture education in the Chinese teaching of rural middle schools.On the basis of analyzing,revolving and summarizing the Chinese teaching,this paper explores the way to emphasize traditional Chinese culture teaching in a new situation,and the author puts forward some suggestions on how to implement traditional culture education,such as keeping emphasizing the importance of class teaching,improving students' understanding of traditional culture,strengthening teachers' teaching skills,respecting multi-culture,reforming the examination and evaluation system,and so on.
