With the development of educational robotics technology,it has become an inevitable trend for Robotics Education to enter the classroom of primary and secondary school students. However, how to cultivate students'ability to comprehensively apply knowledge to solve problems is a problem worth exploring. The extensive application and practice emphasizes the cultivation of comprehensive qualities such as students'innovative thinking and innovative ability.Different from college students and middle school students, they have formed the consciousness of“self-learning”.For primary school students who have not yet formed the“self-learning”consciousness,how can teachers guide them to make better use of existing educational robots to acquire more knowledge?Improving the ability of all aspects, especially the ability to use knowledge to solve problems,is a top priority for the development of primary school robot education. In view of the above problems, this study designed a primary school LEGO EV3 robot course for STEAM education for primary school students and guided by project-based learning theory. The teaching practice was carried out,the teaching effect was analyzed, and teaching suggestions were given to promote elementary school robot education.First of all,the author-clarifies the background and significance of this research, puts forward the problems that need to be solved in this study, and sorts out the research hotspots, research status and relationship between STEAM education, robot education and project-based learning at home and abroad. The research methods and technical routes of this research define the core concepts involved in this research:STEAM education, educational robots and LEGO EV3 robots. In addition, the theory that guides the study and the relationship between these theories and the study are detailed. These contents laid a solid theoretical foundation for the implementation of this study.Secondly, the author designed and developed the LEGO EV3 robot course for elementary learning based on STEAM education. The specific steps are as follows:The first step is to interview some school robot teachers who are teaching robots in Shaanxi Province, and to conduct a questionnaire survey on students who will participate in the robot society, from the perspective of family, school, society and students themselves. The results of the survey are explained, and understanding these contents is conducive to the design and implementation of the course. In the second step,on the basis of theoretical research and actual investigation, aiming at cultivating students'ability to comprehensively apply knowledge to solve problems, the paper summarizes the curriculum design principles and curriculum teaching objectives of LEGO EV3 robots based on project-based learning. The third step is to draw on the existing robot course teaching mode to design the teaching mode, course content outline and course evaluation method of the primary school LEGO EV3 robot based on project-based learning. The fourth step is to explain the research implementation team and teaching preparation work.Next, the author conducts an action study on the implementation of the LEGO EV3 robot course based on project-based learning. In the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year,a total of three rounds of teaching practice research were carried out in the research and development school, and seven projects were implemented.During the implementation of the project, the author constantly revised the teaching mode and teaching strategy according to the teaching reflection, and selected the The three projects detailed the implementation design, implementation process analysis, observation reflection and improvement suggestions of the course design and implementation of these three projects,in order to restore a real classroom,in order to provide detailed information for the majority of robot education researchers.References.Then,the author analyzes the data of the recorded course implementation effects. The analysis includes the following three aspects:First, the author used the statistical method of paired sample test to make a statistical analysis of the pre-test and post-test results of the 5C scale, and explained the results.Second, the author analyzes and explains the data of the student learning effect score sheet.Thirdly, the students'satisfaction was investigated and analyzed from the two dimensions of“project design”and“project implementation”.Based on the analysis of the data and the reflection of the curriculum implementation, the author gives the design and implementation recommendations of the LEGO EV3 robot course based on project-based learning. Finally, the ultimate goal of the design and implementation of the LEGO-based EV3 robot course for STEAM-based,project-based learning is not only to teach students about LEGO EV3 robots, but also to develop students' ability to use knowledge to solve problems.Good teaching results have been achieved in teaching practice. However, with the advancement of the times and the development of science and technology, the research on robot education related aspects only has“time to proceed”and no“when it is completed”.The author needs to continuously improve all aspects of design and implementation in subsequent research and conduct a wider range of practical research.
