Executive function(EF)is the senior cognitive function of people, which includes Inhibition,Updating, and Shifting. Its fundamental purpose is to make individuals produce coordinated, orderly, targeted behavior.Executive function,as a higher cognitive function, has an important influence on the learning, reasoning, problem solving and intellectual activities of adolescent students. The academic research on adolescent executive function started from the exploration of the correlation between physical activity and cognitive ability. The current research mainly focuses on the use of aerobic exercise as an intervention to improve the cognitive ability and academic performance of adolescents. However, sensitive activities involving changing body movements, changing direction of movement, rapid judgment and decision-making seem to be more conducive to the development of inhibition, refresh, transformation and other abilities in adolescents. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the influence of agility training on executive function of middle school students,so as to provide theoretical basis and practical means for improving executive function of teenagers. In this study,a total of 99 boys were randomly selected from two PE classes in grade 1,grade 1,affiliated middle school of fushun teachers'training college, liaoning province. There were 49 people in the experimental group and 50 people in the control group. Before the experiment, the subjects were tested for the sensitivity of movement(t-type test,Illinois test)and the sensitivity of reaction(y-type test, hexagon test). The subjects were pretested with e-prim e 1.1 software to test the homogeneity of sensitivity and executive function of the two groups.During the experiment, the experimental group was given 30 minutes of sensitivity training once a week for 10 weeks in the physical activity class(45 minutes/class),while the control group was given basketball practice in the physical activity class without intervention. After the experiment period, the sensitivity and executive function of the two groups were tested. The effect of sensitivity training on executive function of middle school students was analyzed by paired sample T test. Moreover,Pearson correlation analysis was used to explore the relationship between the sensitivity change and the executive function change of the subjects. The results show that:1.The sensitivity of the subjects in the experimental group showed significant changes in T,hexagon and Illinois(p<0.05),and extremely significant changes in Y(p<0.01).There were significant changes in the executive function of the experimental group in inhibition control task, memory refresh task and attention transfer task(p<0.05).2.The sensitivity of the subjects in the control group showed no significant change in the y-type test and the hexagon test(p>,0.05),while significant change in the t-type test and the Illinois test(p<0.05).The control group showed significant changes in inhibition and control tasks(p<0.01).However,there was no significant change in the memory refresh task and attention conversion task(p>0.05).3.According to the post-test data of the experiment, there was no significant difference in the sensitivity of the two groups in the t-type test(p>0.05),but significant difference in the y-type test, hexagon test and Illinois test(p<0.05).Compared with the two groups, there were significant differences in the executive function of inhibition and control task, memory refresh task and attention transfer task(p<0.05).4.In the experimental group, there was a low correlation between the growth values of the t-test,Illinois test and hexagon test results and the growth values of the executive function test results. There was a negative correlation between the growth value of y-type test results and the growth value of memory refresh test results(-0.417),but a low correlation between the growth value of inhibition control and attention conversion test results. In general, there was a low correlation between the sensitivity and executive function of the experimental group. Conclusion:agility training can have a positive effect on the executive function of male middle school students.Because of the physical differences between sensitivity and executive function testing tools,it is not possible to conclude that there is no correlation between sensitivity and executive function.
