Research On Social Security Issues Of Land-lost Farmers

With the continuous development of rural urbanization,a large number of agricultural and rural land has been expropriated,and a large number of farmers have lost their land and become "landless farmers".They lost the security of their original land,and they can't enjoy the same social security treatment of urban residents,this special group of farmers are facing a series of social security problems.These problems are not only related to the vital interests of landless farmers,but also affect the process of urbanization and the stable development of our society.Through many years of exploration,the social security problems of landless farmers have been improved to a certain extent,but there are still many problems to be solved.Therefore,this paper takes X town of J City as an example to explore the social security problems of landless farmers.Firstly,the paper defines three basic concepts : landless farmers,social security and social security of landless farmers,and it also summarizes the contents of the social security theory,demand level theory and welfare economic theory.Secondly,through literature review and questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the current situation of social security of landless farmers in X town of J City,points out the problems in social insurance,in employment,and in social security funds,and it analyzes two reasons behind these problems: the lack of government performance,and the limitations of landless farmers.Finally,the paper puts forward three countermeasures and suggestions to improve the social security of landless farmers by learning from the excellent practical experience of other countries: improve the content of social security of landless farmers by improving the relevant policies of minimum living security,pension security and medical security,and then the level of social security of landless farmers can be improved;improve the content of employment security for landless farmers by widening employment channels,improving employment training and issuing employment preferential policies,then the employment environment for landless farmers can be improved;improve the management of social security fund for landless farmers by expanding the source of social security fund,improving the operation of social security fund and standardizing the supervision of social security fund,and then the safety of social security fund for landless farmers can be guaranteed.
