The Time Reversal Experiment with Kaons (TREK) is an experiment which has been proposed to be run at J-PARC with a worldwide collaboration. The transverse muon polarization is measured in the decay K+ → pi 0mu+numu(Kmu3). This experiment promises to push the upper limit of the T-violating parameter Imxi to a new low and possibly be the first to directly see T-symmetry breaking. In preparation of the experiment a Monte Carlo simulation has been started and virtual experiments have validated many detector design parameters. |
