A comprehensive literature review was conducted to build knowledge about reentry and the challenges of leaving gangs, as well as the effectiveness of theater arts as an intervention with at-risk youth and young adults. An exploration of potential funding sources through the Internet resulted in identifying the S. Mark Taper Foundation as the best funding source for the project. A grant application was written to support a theater arts program at Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, California. Actual submission and/or funding of the grant was not required for the successful completion of this project. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Grant, Project, Theater arts, Homeboy industries, Funding | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
