In fulfillment of the requirements for a Master of Fine Arts degree, three dances were choreographed and performed at the Martha B. Knoebel Dance Theater located at California State University, Long Beach. The dates of the premieres were October 14, 2010, April 28, 2011, and October 13, 2011. The dances were ten minutes and thirty seconds, fourteen minutes and forty seconds, and five minutes and forty-five seconds in length, respectively.;When the Question Comes investigated how to train dancers to move with intention and achieve a natural-looking, emotionally unguarded, and open way of being. 12:01 challenged dancers to find spontaneity in set choreography, make choices in response to internal and external stimuli, and find the difference in repetition. Snowflakes and Gumdrops explored how to lead a soloist to develop an interior dialogue and construct a sense of environment through the use of focus, imagination, kinesthetic awareness, and mind-body connection.
