he aim of this study was to explore applied and mechanistic aspects of the silane dehydropolymerization reaction catalyzed by cationic early transition metallocene compounds. This problem was dealt with by a combination of spectroscopic techniques, kinetic studies, and trapping of reaction intermediates.
