Earthquake is a typical sudden disaster,which can release tremendous energy in a few seconds,even shorter time.The destructive range is wide and the destructive capability is expected to be very strong,which damage is caused by an earthquake.Earthquake not only produces original disasters,but also triggers a series of secondary disasters and derived disasters.These disasters can cause huge casualties and economic loss,and have a tremendous impact on the social stability and sustainable development of countries.The research on the seismic hazard of the site can reduce and prevent earthquake disasters effectively.The seismic hazard analysis is intended to provide a reliable basis for structural engineering fortification against earthquake and ensure that engineerings have the ability to resist the affection of earthquake which may take place in their life cycle,which has very important significance on structural dynamic analysis,urban earthquake resistance and hazard mitigation.Based on the researches of the seismic hazard analysis,this study establishes a systematic seismic hazard analysis methodology,which integrates the Chinese probabilistic seismic hazard analysis(CPSHA)with determination seismic hazard analysis(DSHA)by the scenario earthquake.Based on the systematic seismic hazard analysis theoretical framework,this paper develops seismic hazard evaluation system which is suitable for Chinese earthquake activity characteristics and seismic environment.This paper has done some work in the following three aspects:1.Theoretical research: This paper reviews Chinese probabilistic seismic hazard analysis and deterministic seismic hazard analysis,and combines them by the scenario earthquake to form a complete set of seismic hazard analysis system.This study also takes this as a beginning and improve the method of predicting the epicenter,combining the different methods and considering the uncertainty in the seismic hazard analysis.2.System Development: Based on the theoretical framework of seismic hazard analysis and the analysis of seismic hazard evaluation system existing in home and abroad,Arc GIS Engine is applied to develop the seismic hazard evaluation system in this paper,which is under VS2013 development environment with C# development language and ".NET" as the development platform.3.Application demonstration: Based on the above seismic hazard analysis methods and system developments,Xi'an is taken as an example to demonstrate the application of the research results in the paper by considering the seismic environment of Xi'an,such as the fault distribution.The research results are proved accurate and reliable by comparing the results of the application to the seismic micro-zoning and Seismic Ground Motion Parameter Zonation Map of China(2008),which can provide technical support to the government for earthquake hazard assessment and seismic microzonation.
