Lvyuan gold deposit is an epithermal gold deposit newly discovered in recent years.It is located in Qiongheba ore concentration area,eastern Junggar,Xin Jiang,The lower Carboniferous Batamayineishan formation is widely distributed in mine area and it is also mainly ore bearing layer.The NE subsidiary fracture is the mainly ore controlling fracture.Magmatite is not well development.On the basis of the study of the previous researches,we do a lot of work,including field geological work and many analytic tests indoor.Genetic mineralogy,Mineral Prospecting Mineralogy and Geochemistry were applied in the study of pyrite in ore from Lvyuan gold deposit.And we also do the deep orebody prospecting prediction.The main ore rocks type of Lvyuan gold deposit is quartz veins type.Ore minerals mainly include pyrite arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite.Granular and replacement remnant is the main texture of the ore,and the structure of the ore is mainly including cataclasite and vein.The wall rock alterations are well developing in mine area,including silicification,pyritized and kaolinization.The epoch of the hydrothermal ore-forming divided into pyrite-quartz stage(?),gold-quartz-pyrite stage(?),gold-quartz-sulfide stage(?)and quartz-carbonate stage(?).The stage ? and ? is the main ore-forming stage.The main gold-bearing mineral of Lvyuan gold deposit is pyrite.According to the occurrence,the pyrite is divided into four generations.From ? generation to ? generation,we find,the crystal of pyrite have the rule of simple?complicated?simple,and the diameter of pyrite have the law of large ? small ? large by stereoscopic binocular eyepiece.The pyrite of yellow and high euhedral is related to gold.And besides,these pyrite have the feature of fine grain and complicated crystal.Electron Probe analysis of the pyrite,we know the average of ?(S)is 52.85%,the average of ?(Fe)is 45.74%,and the S/Fe is 1.98?2.04.The eigenvalue of?(Co)/ ?(Ni)is 0.026?14,the eigenvalue of ?(Fe)/?(S+As)is 0.849?0.875,the average value is 0.861.These character indicate the formation environment Ly Yuan gold deposit is in the lower depth and the genetic type is medium-low temperature hydrothermal gold deposit.The right distribution pattern of pyrite were the light and heavy REEs' fractionated obviously and enriched in light REE.The ?REE decline sharply and the similiar distribution pattern suggest the hydrothermal is the early stage fluid.The anomaly of Eu and Ce indicated ore-forming in the reducing environment.The thermoelectricity and typochemical feature indicate the deep of No.2 exploration line and No.4 exploration line as well as the deep and east of No.12 exploration line have more preferential exploration prospects.
