Study On Moths Diversity Of Maoxian In Sichuan

As an important component of ecosystem,insect is a crucial indicator of forest health,and also play a vital role in biodiversity conservation.For now,there is no report on the research of insect in Maoxian.Through the study of moth,we gradually understood the species and activity patterns.We also established a database to improve the protection of biodiversity in Maoxian.This study was conducted from October 2016 to September 2017.The survey site involved nine towns and villages in the whole county,and the elevation is from 1015 m to2934m.We also researched strcture of moth communities with some kinds of index.The results are as follows:(1)A total of 3162 moths were collected from the survey.And 177 species were identified which were belong to 13 families.The families including: Sphingidae,Drepanidae,Geometridae,Arctiidae,Pyralidae,Notodontidae,Noctuidae,Lasiocampidae,Saturniida,Crambidae,Thyatiridae,Lithosiidae.(2)With the change of time,the number of species and individuals in moths in Maoxian changed constantly.Whether fimily,genus or species,the number almost consistent trends,which is the highest number in July,the second in May and September,and less in October and April.(3)Through the study on the overall diversity of the moth communities in 9 collection pionts,it has been found that the diversity index is 5.4 or more in Heihuxiang,Songpinggou,Shidaguan,Goukouxiang,and Yonghexiang.The index of Wadixiang,Quguxiang and Nanxinzhen were all around 4.The lowest is Tumenxiang,only 3.1543.The order of evenness index is: Heihuxiang(0.9832)>Nanxinzhen(0.9790)>Yonghexiang(0.9690)> Songpinggou(0.9523)>Goukouxiang(0.8820)>Shidaguan(0.8766)>Wadixiang(0.7624)> Quguxiang(0.7441)> Tumenxiang(0.4961).The change of uniformity and diversity of Tumenxiang,Heihuxiang,Yonghexiang,Quguxiang and Wadixiang are consistent.(4)According to the statistical analysis of the dominance index of various species of moths,it was found that,in different month,Geometridae and Noctidae were all at a high level,and the two families constituted the dominant community of moth of Maoxian.(5)The overall diversity index and evenness index of moths in Maoxian were inconsistent with time.The highest diversity index was in July,followed by May and September,the smallest in April and October.The evenness index was highest in April,October,and then in May,July and September.(6)The rule of evenness index with time changing was different from diversity index in moths.As the dominant families,Geometridae and Noctidae showed a higher level in diversity index,but their uniformity were different.It is means that,the community structure of moths in Maoxian was unstable and unevenly distrivuted.And its dominant population position is very prominent,causing the imbalance of its community structure,which leads to the inconsistency between diversity index and evenness index.(7)The diversity index of each gathering point shows a certain pattern over time.April was generally low,and then was May and September,July is the highest.(8)With the diversity index and evenness index of moth community,the correlation analysis was conducted.It shows that the correlation coefficient of April and October are not significant,explain the community structure is not stable,uneven distribution.The correlation coefficients of May,July and September were all above 0.9,and P<0.05,and the diversity index and evenness index significantly related,means that the community structure was reasonable,the structure is stable,so that diversity and evenness showed consistency.
