Research And Implementation Of River And Lake Information System In Tarim River Basin Based On GIS

Xinjiang Province of China is a typical inland arid area.A river can give birth to an oasis,oasis and rivers go hand in hand.Rivers and lakes play a special role in the unique natural environment and economic and social conditions of Xinjiang.Research and deep understanding of rivers and lakes in the most important Tarim River Basin in Xinjiang are of great significance for maintaining the ecological environment of the basin.This paper expounds the basic ecological status of Tarim River Basin and the significance of this paper.It also introduces related technologies of River and Lake Information System in Tarim River Basin,and describes the method and process of system analysis,design and establishment.The research object of this paper is river and lake information in Tarim River Basin.The natural information,humanity information and spatial information of rivers and lakes in the nine rivers of Tarim River Basin in Xinjiang are classified and published to the Internet.This system building using Python Web development framework Django,the front-end GIS function using open source Web GIS framework Open Layers to achieve map display and interactive function,using My SQL as the attribute database and spatial database of river and lake,organizing spatial data in Geo JSON spatial data format,through Geo Server management spatial data,realized a Web GIS system based on B/S framework.The system has realized the visualization of spatial data,such as water system,river basin boundary,administrative division and so on,users can browse the map and spatial data of the Tarim River Basin after authentication and login in the system.The system provides rich map interaction function,it has good practicability.Through the interactive function of the map,the user can query of attribute information and spatial information,display of river and lake information,vector graphics editing and output,distance and area measurement and so on.The system has realized the information sharing function of rivers and lakes,users can publish information related to rivers and lakes as the theme,or upload or edit spatial data,users can retrieve relevant information or download the relevant data,it is effectively promote the sharing of information and spatial information of the rivers and lakes,also can let ordinary people have a more deeper understanding of the ecological environment and oasis civilization in the Tarim River Basin in Xinjiang.The user browses,query,editing,analysis,sharing operation of spatial information resources in Tarim River Basin of rivers and lakes on the map,not only to meet the professional and nonprofessional people to obtain basic information and watershed spatial information,but also display space information more intuitively and efficiently.The system provide information and communication platform for researchers studying the rivers and lakes in the Tarim River Basin,and provide reference and basis for the decision-makers of the water resources management in the Tarim River Basin.
