Ice accretion is a safety problem that is very easy to occur to aircraft in low temperature environment at mid-high altitude, and serious ice accretion can lead to out of control and loss of power, thus causing flight accidents. Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out the research on anti-icing and de-icing technology of aircraft for enhancing aviation safety. The research on the bonding strength of ice accretion is the foundation of aircraft anti-icing and deicing technology. At present, there are some shortcomings in the traditional testing method for the bonding strength of ice accretion, with the test results being highly dispersed and lack of specifications. This article designs a testing method for the bonding strength of ice accretion based on the centrifugation, analyzes the influence of three substrate surface characteristics of material quality, temperature and surface roughness on the bonding strength of ice accretion through experiments, and also studies the influence of applying different ultrasonic wave on the bonding strength of ice accretion. The specific contents are as follows:From the icing theory, the formation process and bonding mechanism of ice accretion on the substrate surface are discussed, and several factors that may affect the bonding strength of ice accretion are also analyzed.A testing method for the bonding strength of ice accretion based on the centrifugation is designed.Through experiments, the effects of substrate material, environment temperature and surface roughness on the bonding strength of ice accretion are studied to obtain the corresponding influence laws, and its influence mechanism is also analyzed.Through experiments, the influence laws of the amplitude and frequency of ultrasonic wave on the bonding strength of ice accretion are studied to present the corresponding influence curve.According to the physicochemical properties of ultrasonic wave, the influencing mechanism is analyzed, and then the conjecture is verified by experiments. The testing method for the bonding strength of ice accretion based on the centrifugation adopted in this article has the characteristics of fast test and stable results, whose feasibility has been verified by experiments. And then the influence of substrate material, temperature and surface roughness on the bonding strength of ice accretion is also obtained through experiments. The results show that the effect of roughness on the bonding strength of ice accretion is the greatest, and the debonding phenomenon will occur when the temperature is too low.Applying ultrasonic wave with certain frequency and amplitude can effectively reduce the bonding strength of ice accretion,of which the amplitude of ultrasonic wave will significantly affect the bonding strength of ice accretion, while the frequency has little effect on the bonding strength of ice accretion. The action mechanism of ultrasonic wave on the bonding strength of ice accretion includes cavitation effect and shearing effect,of which the influenc of cavitation effect is more significant. The experimental results in this article have certain reference significance for the development of aircraft surface anti-icing technology based on ultrasonic wave in the future.
