The purpose of this paper is to make detailed determination of the geological structure in the research area by means of remote sensing, establish the structural framework of the research area, accurately interpret and classify the structure in the research area, interpret and analyze the mechanical properties of the linear structure and the Ring structure.Based on the project of " Investigation of 1:50,000 highprecision remote sensing mapping method in Qiemuo area of Altun ".this paper selected remote sensing data such as Worldview-2,Landsat-8 and DEM,and extracted target information after remote sensing image processing. The following research results were obtained:1.In this study,a total of 348 faults were interpreted, and the faults in the study area were divided into five stages according to the crosscutting relationship and the analysis of basic data. The near-EW fault was the earliest and widely distributed fault, which was damaged by various faults in the later period. The NW fault is later than the near-EW fault, and it is cut off from the near-EW fault, but it is misfaulted by the NE fault and NNE fault. Some NW faults in the study area cut off the NW fault, which reflects the reactivity of this group of faults. The NE fault is the most important one in the study area, which destroys the first two faults, controls the main magmatic activity and destroys the older intrusive bodies. The NNE fault structure has a clear trace and is clearly visible to the first three fault groups and the dislocation of the inner body, which is then cut by the NS near-fault developed later The near-NS fault is the most recently developed phase fault in the study area.2.Based on the statistical analysis of fault elements in spatial database, the fault time-period property is obtained, and the fault size and spatial distribution characteristics are combined to analyze the fault time-period property: The east-west faults are mainly compressional and compression-torsional faults formed by the compressive stress on the northwest side, and formed in the Middle Caledonian movement. The NW fault is a compression-torsional fault of NNE-NW right-lateral compression shear and NS compression, which is judged to have formed in the Late Caledonian movement. The NE fault system is dominated by compressionability, which was formed in the Hercynian period by north-south compression and right-hand thrust. The NNE faults are mainly compression-torsional and torsional faults, and the faults are mainly small-scale ductile shear zones, which are related to the near-NS compression in the late Yanshan movement. The near NS fault is mainly a tensional fault, and the secondary fault is a torsional fault, which was formed in the Himalayan period3.The time of the Formation of the NE fault of the Ring structure in the study area can be divided into two phases. The first phase is an ancient intrusive body that existed before the formation of NE structure, and the analysis shows that the formation time of this kind of ancient intrusive body is only later than the formation time of nearEW structure,The existence of these intrusions greatly reduces the influence of NW faults on the study area, which are later than NW structures in the east of the study area Another phase of annular structure is reflected in the image as a near-circular,elliptic or irregular ring. This type of Ring structure is much smaller than the former type, and shows slight geomorphologic features, which is directly related to the Hercynian magmatic intrusion. In this paper, remote sensing is used to determine the geological structure in the research area. The tectonic types in the research area are mainly faults and ring structures.Based on the relationship between faults and existing data, the tectonic periods in the research area are accurately divided.
