GIS technology has entered China since the 1960s,and is playing an increasingly important role in the collection,analysis and application of geographic information.As geographic situation monitoring gradually develops in China,provincial land planning departments organized and carried out the survey and monitoring of provincial geographic information individually,and have set up a regular and quantitative monitoring plan all together with the national bureau.From the perspective of urban management,the national survey,as well as the provincial surveys have larger census particles and much broader scope of geographical information survey.Their survey and monitoring results cannot fully fulfill the actual demands of urban management and development planning.In order to solve this problem,Jinan carried out the 2018 urban geographical conditions monitoring.Focusing on this theme,this article elaborates on the regional overview,data analysis and utilization,related specifications,detailed implementation process as well as results' follow-up applications of the urban geographic conditions monitoring.Based on the monitoring results,a set of specific methods has been developed for the urban geographic conditions data analysis,at the same time,definite the specific content and statistical indicator,established a standard system of The specific content for the urban geographical conditions monitoring data.Under the guidance of the method of geography conditions monitoring,monitoring contents and classification system,statistical calculation and analysis of evaluation methods and other relevant theories,develop the software of urban geographical conditions statistical analysis,using Microsoft Visual Studio and ArcGIS Engine,complete the function module code implementation and integration testing,implement the functions of map display,basic operation,custom configuration,basic statistics,comprehensive statistics and report exporting.This article ends with work implementation,data analysis,index construction for the urban geographical conditions monitoring,complete the field data acquisition,internal data processing,established urban-level statistical index system,based on the above work,explores the design and development of the supporting statistical analysis software,which can provide valuable design reference for similar projects in other regions.
