Multi-beam sounding is one of the latest forms of underwater exploration.The installation deviation of multi-beam sounding system can have a great impact on the sounding data.With the development of computer graphics,image processing,computer vision and other disciplines,as well as the wider cross-discipline,the accuracy and automation of installation error correction of Multi-beam Bathymetric System have become the focus of research.At present,the most common method to correct the installation deviation of Multi-beam Bathymetric System is to select a special terrain,make multiple measurements along the laid survey line,and then align the projection of the back-and-forth survey strip profile visually.However,this method is tedious,which needs to be adjusted repeatedly,and easy to be influenced by the individual differences of eye observation and comparison and the visual display form of Multi-beam Bathymetric data,so its stability is not high.Firstly,this paper analyses the related work of installation deviation correction methods of Multi-beam Bathymetric System.On the basis of in-depth study of the principle of Multi-beam Bathymetric System and related Multi-beam Bathymetric Data processing,the abnormal value detection of Multi-beam Bathymetric system,the visualization of Multi-beam Bathymetric Data and the visualization accuracy of installation deviation of Multi-beam Bathymetric System based on two-step method are carried out.The calculation and efficiency optimization of visual solution process are studied.The main work is as follows:1)Visualization of Multi-beam Bathymetric Data in different dimensions.to analyze Multi-beam Bathymetric Data and seabed topography,and to calculate installation deviation and other data processing of Multi-beam Bathymetric System by visualization.2)Analysis of common Multi-beam Bathymetric Data Filtering methods.Aiming at the need of installation deviation calculation of Multi-beam Bathymetric system,to select the filtering method based on depth information statistics to eliminate the outliers in Multi-beam Bathymetric data.3)Combining with the calculation model of installation deviation correction parameters of Multi-beam Bathymetric system,the Sampling bias is used as the alignment criterion of two Multi-beam Bathymetric Data strips in the same calibration period,and the automatic and accurate visual calculation of installation deviation of Multi-beam Bathymetric System Based on two-step method is studied and realized.4)In view of the characteristics of Multi-beam Bathymetric Data such as discreteness and large amount of data,a fast optimization method based on hierarchical operation and fitting method is used.5)The visual calculation software of calibration parameters is developed and implemented,and the calculation results and efficiency of the software are tested and analyzed in typical experimental areas.The experimental results show that the precise automatic visual calculation method of installation deviation of Multi-beam Bathymetric System Based on two-step method can effectively avoid the uncertainty and complexity of operation caused by human visual alignment,and effectively improve the automation degree and calculation accuracy of visual calculation of correction parameters.
