Multi-attribute Group Three-way Decision Making With Degree-based Linguistic Term Sets

Three-way decision theory is a decision theory based on decision-theoretic rough sets,which accords with human cognition.By introducing acceptance decision,rejection decision,and noncommitment decision,it gives a reason-able semantic explanation to the positive region,negative region,and bound-ary region in decision-theoretic rough sets.In recent years,three-way deci-sion method has been widely used in many fields such as information filtering and classification,recommender systems,and three-way clustering.Besides,some scholars have combined three-way decision theory with multi-attribute decision-making to develop a multi-attribute three-way decision method by us-ing linguistic terms to evaluate decision objects.When using several possi-ble linguistic terms with different weights(represented by probability values)to express preferences,the probability distribution of those linguistic terms is usually hard to be obtained.In view of this,we put forward a new linguis-tic evaluation value type from the perspective of degree,that is,degree-based linguistic term set.Besides,in order to make better decisions,we propose a multi-attribute three-way group three-way decision making method based on degree-based linguistic term sets.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)From the perspective of degree,we first put forward a new type of linguistic evaluation value,that is,degree-based linguistic term set.Then we combine the three-way decision theory with the multi-attribute decision theory to propose a multi-attribute three-way decision method based on degree-based linguistic term sets.By introducing degree-based linguistic term sets and mul-tiple attributes,the decision method can not only make the evaluation values contain more evaluation information,but also evaluate and analyze decision objects from multiple dimensions,which will make the final decision results closer to the real results.(2)We make group decisions on the three-way decision results of all decision-makers by using the idea of TOPSIS method,and then propose a multi-attribute group three-way decision method.Besides,we give a method to calculate the objective weights of decision-makers based on the three-way decision results of each decision-maker.We combine the objective weights with the subjective weights given by experience in a certain proportion to get the final decision-maker weights,which is more reasonable.This decision method enables mul-tiple decision-makers to participate in the decision making process,the final decision results will be more convincing.
