The Xiajiadian Gold and Vanadium Mine is located about 38 km southeast of Shanyang County,Shaanxi Province,on the south side of the Zhenan-Banyan Town Great Fault,the western section of the Xiajiadian-Qianjiaping polymetallic metallogenic belt and the junction of Zhenban fracture and Yanjiagou anticline.The Longtougou gold deposit,Sulinggou gold deposit,Liujiaxia gold deposit,etc.have been discovered in the area,and there are still many gold and silver anomalies,which have certain prospecting potential.Due to its complex geological environment and metallogenic characteristics,the deposit has received widespread attention from many researchers.Its research direction is mainly on the ore-controlling structure and metallogenesis of the Xiajiadian gold-vanadium deposit.However,the mineralogical research on the metal minerals of the Xiajiadian gold-vanadium ore and the research on the occurrence state of gold are insufficient.This article is based on sufficient field geological surveys and sampling,through single-polarization microscope observation and electron probe component analysis,ascertained the metal mineralogical characteristics and the occurrence state of gold,divided the metallogenic stage and the metallogenic stage,combined with previous studies,a preliminary discussion on mineralization is carried out,which provides a basis for later prospecting work.1.According to the geological phenomenon in the field,the petrographic characteristics of the ore,and the symbiosis association of minerals,the Xiajiadian gold deposit can be divided into pre-enrichment period of sedimentary mineralization,orogeny and hydrothermal transformation period,epigenetic oxidation secondary enrichment period.The orogenic and hydrothermal transformation period can be divided into three stages: quartz-sericite,quartz-carbonate-sulfide-natural gold and carbonate-quartz.2.The metal minerals in the Xiajiadian gold-vanadium ore mainly include limonite,a small amount of pyrite,chalcopyrite,and the precious metal minerals are natural gold;non-metallic minerals mainly include quartz and chalcedony,followed by sericite,argillaceous,etc.It also contains a small amount of iron dolomite,calcite and charcoal.3.The results of electron probe data analysis show that the content of iron and sulfur in pyrite is similar to the standard value,and the average value of the Co/Ni ratio in trace elements is less than 1,indicating that the mineralization is related to sedimentation.The Zn-Fe and Zn-Cd geological thermometers in sphalerite indicate that the mineralization temperature is medium and low temperature.4.Gold minerals mainly exist in the form of natural gold,with a round shape as the main shape,followed by angular granular and aggregate shapes.The main types of gold embedded are fissure gold,intergranular gold and encased gold.The main gold-bearing mineral is quartz,followed by limonite.The fineness of gold is 953.9?967.6,and the average fineness is 959.0.Comprehensive research infers that the Xiajiadian gold-vanadium deposit is a sedimentary metamorphic-hydrothermal transformation type gold deposit.
