In the field of earth sciences,plane color fill maps are widely used to visually express the morphological characteristics of data.The common forms are contour fill maps,nonshaded color fill maps,and shaded color fill maps.In the related scientific research work in the field of gravity and magnetic exploration,the processing of magnetic poles,continuation and other technologies are extremely dependent on the gravity and magnetic plane data.Due to the high cost of gravity and magnetic data collection and its close relationship with national defense,only flat color fill maps can be seen in the literature.In addition,many early original data materials were lost,and only the pictures remained.The contour fill map can still be used to obtain the data of the map manually,but for the color fill map without shadows,the workload of manual data recovery is huge,and artificial errors are prone to occur.For the shaded color fill map,the data cannot be recovered manually due to the influence of the shadow.This article analyzes the drawing process of the shaded and unshaded color fill map.On this basis,we have studied the data recovery method of the flat color fill map without shadow and with shadow,and conducted extensive experiments and analysis.The research process of this paper: First,it analyzed the domestic and foreign research status of computer graphics and the theoretical basis of geophysical exploration mapping,including the properties of light,color and shadow.Secondly,on the basis of studying the realization process of the flat color fill map without shadows,the paper researched and tested the data recovery methods of the gray fill map without shadow and the color fill map without shadow.Lastly,after studying the realization process of the flat color fill map with shadow,the paper mainly studied the detailed process of the Hillshade and the vector algorithm,and proposed and tested the data recovery method of the Hillshade color fill map.The test results were indictive of a great effect of recovering the color-filled map without shadows proposed.As for the shaded color fill map,the data recovery effect of the hillshade color fill map is very good.However,the data recovery of the vector shaded color fill map still needs to be further studied.
