In recent years,with the rapid development of the optoelectronic industry,the level of detection devices and processing technologies have also been continuously developed and improved.Based on the development of imaging quality evaluation methods for optical systems at home and abroad,on the basis of existing research theories and techniques,this project will be focused on research about the lens MTF test system based on image processing,and a high-precision transfer function tester is developed.Since most of the high-end MTF tester commercially available in the market come from abroad,and it has occupied a huge market due to its scientific research of theore,high accuracy,and rapid testing.The MTF tester developed in China is not yet up to foreign standards and can not meet commercial requirements of testing accuracy and speed.Therefore,the design work done in this paper aims to make research preparations that can be used for practical high-end MTF testers.Also,the work made constructive research of MTF testing.Through my research work,we aim to grasp the key technical research of the MTF design and realize the localization of the high-end MTF testers.In the design process,the following work was mainly completed:(1)Read a number of related literature about lens MTF test,made an in-depth study of related theoretical knowledge,conducted an investigation and research on the current market application,compared MTF test methods,discussed the experimental plan and determined the design program,and finally established Slit lens MTF test system.(2)Set up a system platform for MTF testing,determined the optical path and structure of the system,and selected and compared the required optical components,determined the experimental procedure and adjusted the system optical path,and ensured the accuracy of the test results.(3)Designed the software module of the test system,including stepper motor control and autofocus,image acquisition and storage,image preprocessing,MTF value calculation and curve image rendering.(4)Completed the MTF test of different lenses,recorded the experimental data and results,and made a comparative analysis to fully evaluate the imaging quality of the lens under test.The system designed for this time is innovatively applicable to different lens MTF test programs.It can measure LSF,MTF,EFL,field curvature,and distortion of different lenses.It can also combine tests to explore the influence relations of variables and analyze and verify the results.This system can control the optical system's MTF test result error within 2%,can reflect the field curvature,distortion and other information of lens.At the end of the thesis,the author summarizes the overall work of the paper and proposes the function that the system can continue to be developed.This design product has a good industrial application prospect.
