Study On The Multiperiod Supply Chian Network Equilibrium Considering VMI

With the development of economic globalization,more and more enterprises have paid attention to supply chain management.Vendor Managed Inventory is an important supply chain management strategy,the main purpose is to achieve active collaboration between suppliers and clients,thereby reducing the logistics cost in the supply chain,which can reflect the integration of supply chain management.This paper combines the research of supply chain network equilibrium and Vendor managed inventory to study a multi-period supply chain network equilibrium model considering VMI strategy,and describes the implementation behavior of supply chain network participants on VMI strategy with different time periods.This paper mainly uses variational inequality theory to establish two multi-period supply chain network equilibrium models considering VMI strategy.And the improved projection method is used to solve and analyze the model,the following research results have been achieved:(1)A multi-period supply chain network equilibrium model considering VMI strategy is established,and the preliminary preparation and implementation process of VMI strategy are described in different time periods.By analyzing the behavior of participants in each layer of the supply chain network,each layer is obtained optimization conditions and variational inequality theory is applied to derive a multi-period supply chain network equilibrium model.Finally,through analysing calculation examples,the influence of VMI strategy on the participants in the supply chain equilibrium is studied.The study found that investing and implementing VMI strategies in the supply chain network equilibrium will make the manufacturer's productivity,sales and short-term profits reduce;and make the retailer's total profit increases.(2)A multi-period supply chain network equilibrium model considering the implementation of VMI strategy,and the income sharing between manufacturers and retailers is established.By analyzing the behaviors of participants in each layer of the supply chain network,the optimal conditions are obtained,and a multi-period supply chain network equilibrium model is derived.Finally,through the analysis and comparison of calculation examples,the influence of the implementation of VMI strategy on the balance of the supply chain network under the consideration of income sharing is studied.In the supply chain network equilibrium,the implementation of VMI strategy and consideration of the income sharing will lead to a reduction in the manufacturer's output and an increase in total profit;and also a reduction in the retailer's purchase volume and an increase in total profit.This shows that the implementation of VMI strategy is more beneficial to retailers,and manufacturers often do not have a great willingness to implement VMI strategy.The reasonable sharing of revenue enable manufacturers and retailers to achieve a win-win situation,thereby prompting manufacturers and retailers to take positive attitudes towards VMI strategies.Looking at the research results in the two fields of multi-phase supply chain network equilibrium and vendor managed inventory,we have not found a profound research result that integrates the two.This paper enriches this research field,deeply analyzes the influence mechanism of vendor managed inventory on supply chain network equilibrium,and draw some innovative research conclusions.
