The interaction between waves and structures is an important topic in coastal and marine engineering.In recent years,the development of efficient parallel numerical model to study the interaction between waves and structures has become a focused research subject.Based on the existing lattice Boltzmann(LB)numerical wave model,the functions of complex structure treatment and porous media simulation are further developed,and the interaction between waves and complex structures is studied.The main research contents and results are as follows:(1)Based on the two-dimensional LB numerical wave flume,the wave overtopping over smooth sloping seawall due to regular and irregular waves is simulated using the wave-maker with active absorption velocity at inlet,wave eliminating method at outflow boundary.Comparisons among the simulation results,the experimental data and other numerical model results show that the LB numerical wave flume has the ability to simulate wave overtopping of sloping seawall.(2)Using the LB equation model constructed by the general non-Darcy seepage model for solving seepage problems,the LB numerical wave model which can simulate the interaction between waves and porous media is established.The Poiseuille flow filled with porous media between two plates,the propagation of dam break waves in permeable dam,the waves passing through permeable triangular submerged dike,the waves passing through permeable trapezoidal submerged dike and the interaction between waves and permeable emerged dike are simulated.The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental and theoretical values,which proves that the developed model has the ability to simulate the interaction between waves and porous media.(3)The grid generator of 3D structure is developed,and the grid generation of any complex 3D structure is realized successfully.The wave reflection performance of perforated-wall caisson breakwater and the wave overtopping over permeable sloping breakwater armored by Accropode blocks due to irregular waves are simulated.The comparison between the numerical results and the experimental measurements shows that the three-dimensional LB numerical wave flume has the ability to simulate the interaction between waves and complex structures.It can meet the needs of the actual engineering of simulating the interaction between three-dimensional waves and structures.
