When wireless electromagnetic waves pass through the earth's atmosphere, they are affected by ionospheric irregularities, and their amplitude and phase will jitter rapidly in a short period of time, which is called ionospheric scintillation. With the human exploration of extraterrestrial space and the demand for space communication, the study of ionospheric scintillation characteristics and its influence on electromagnetic communication has become increasingly important. In this paper,by using the observation data received by GPS scintillation/TEC receivers in Chengdu(30.67°N,104.07°E)region of China from January 2018 to December 2020,the data batch program is used to obtain satellite data of multiple frequency points received by multiple satellite systems. After processing, extract the main research parameters such as amplitude scintillation index S4,phase scintillation index, azimuth angle, elevation angle, etc.,statistically analyze the temporal and spatial laws of ionospheric scintillation in Chengdu region, and analyze the correlation with the changes of geomagnetic disturbance and solar activity intensity. The main research content is.1.Write ionospheric data batch processing software, mainly use MATLAB for processing, perform cycle slip detection and correction on the original data received by satellites, remove error values and perform mean filling of invalid values, and finally obtain flicker data that can be analyzed.2.Study the temporal and spatial characteristics of ionospheric scintillation distribution over Chengdu based on the processed data. The results show that the frequency and intensity of ionospheric scintillation events have obvious seasonal changes, and the scintillation intensity in spring and autumn(March-April and September-October)And the frequency is higher and frequent compared with summer and winter seasons(May to August and November to February). And the flicker event mainly occurs at night, and the flicker event during the day also mainly occurs in the afternoon. The occurrence of scintillation events is related to the airspace and is closely related to the elevation angle and azimuth angle of the observation point.Generally speaking, the ionospheric amplitude scintillation is mainly distributed at the azimuth angle of about 180° and the elevation angle of about 60°.2018-2020 is a year of low solar activity, and the overall scintillation events show a gradual downward trend.3.The S4 parameter value of ionospheric scintillation and the carrier-to-noise ratio show a negative correlation, and the occurrence of a scintillation event will cause the CNR ratio to drop sharply. At the end of May 2018,a long-lasting scintillation event occurred.Further analysis showed that the occurrence of scintillation events increased with increased solar activity and lower magnetic disturbance.
