Markov Process Modeling Of The Retrospective Sense In Painting And Calligraphy

Calligraphy and painting works as the essence of the world art culture,it is extremely important in studying the cultural and historical development of human culture.Calligraphy and painting can be divided into different types according to different standards.Nowadays,there are many static features such as complexity,emotional preference and aesthetic attractive,and very few studies classify paintings by dynamic characteristics,and the latest research of neurological learning when an ornamental appreciatively appreciated a work,it would be the action of the brushwork in the mind when seeing the static strokes on the work,just like the viewer is experiencing the author's creation,and formed a series of strokes in this process.That is,the viewer can speculate the artist's creative process and restore the creative process in the mind.It is called "retrospective" phenomenon in this article,and mainly for the retrospective phenomenon of different painting and calligraphy classification research.Based on this paper,the focus of this paper is: 1.Put forward the standards of painting and calligraphy – retrospective sense;2.According to the experimental aesthetics research method,empirical analysis of the differences in the retrospective of different styles.The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:(1)By summarizing the past related research on the retrospective phenomenon and classification and so on of calligraphy and painting,a new standard: retrospective sense is proposed for the classification of calligraphy and painting.First select the traditional oriental calligraphy,abstract expressionism,modern calligraphy,continuous strokes painting,traditional ink & wash painting and others six types of works as the paper research object,and use complexity test results to select a suitable complexity as the study image.(2)This paper draws on the sequencing theme in the aesthetic questionnaire in the past,plus the characteristics of the retrospective sense itself,designed a retrospective sense acquisition system based on painting key points.The system can record the sequence of key points according to the tester's retrospective process,in which the key points take two different ways,and use approach number one in the paper and model as the Markov model two different calculation methods to quantify the collected order data to measure the retrospective sense of different types of works.(3)In order to improve the characteristics of the sorting system which is affected by key points,refer to the traditional theory of calligraphy,designed a retrospective sense acquisition sense system based on painting and calligraphy copy.The collected data is modelled as the Markov chain,through 4*4,8*8,8*10 and 16*16 four areas of interest division methods and using observed frequencies of states,using an eigendecomposition and Sliding Window Lempel-Ziv three calculation methods,the randomness of Markov model,namely entropy rate,is measured to compare the retrospective sense of different types of painting and calligraphy.Two kinds of retrospective sense acquisition systems are compared by empirical research,and the results are quantified by the retrospective sense of different types of works: the results obtained by two acquisition methods are very similar,the retrospective sense of traditional oriental calligraphy and modern calligraphy are relatively high,the retrospective sense of traditional ink & wash painting is relatively low,and the remaining three types of works are the medium type,in which abstract expressionism are greater than the type of others.Two kinds of retrospective acquisition methods have advantages and disadvantages,key sorting systems can more efficiently obtain testers' data,but their accuracy depends on key points on the works;And copy system can get more accurate data results,but need more time.Retrospective sense can be quantified which is for empirical research,and can be used as a new standard for painting and calligraphy.
