Coal Quality Characteristics And Geological Control Of Shanxi Formation In Majialiang-Fangziping Area Of Fugu Mining Area,Northern Shaanxi

By using the outcrop,borehole core and logging data,this paper studies the coal seam characteristics and geological controlling factors of Shanxi Formation in Majialiang-Fangping area of Fugu mining area in Northern Shaanxi.Through the analysis of facies markers,the Shanxi Formation in the study area is delta deposit.The lower part in Shanxi Formation mainly deposit as delta front and the upper mainly deposit as delta plain.Using the principle of sequence stratigraphy,the Shanxi Formation is divided into two third-order sequences.The stratigraphic framework of the Shanxi Formation in the study area is established.Shanxi Formation in the study area contains two to five layers of coal seam.There are two layers of coal seam can be mined,and the number of coal seam is 2#,4#.By strata,sedimentary cycle,its characteristics of coal seam,distance between coal seam and coal seam floor elevation recourse,geophysical well logging curve method of comprehensive measures for the coal seam of shanxi formation in the study area.The physical properties of the main coal seams in the study area are similar with black color and asphalt luster.The macroscopic coal rock composition is mainly semidark briquette.It's coalification degree belongs to the ? stage of medium coal grade.2#,4# coal gas is given priority to.The north of 2# coal seam is dominated by medium to high ash coal.The south is dominated by medium to high ash coal.The west of 4#coal seam is dominated by medium ash coal and the east is dominated by low ash coal.Organic sulfur(SOD)and sulfate sulfur(SSD)is subordinate.The 2# and 4# coal seams in the study area can be used for power coal,liquefaction coal,gasification coal and coking coal blending.The coal quality and occurrence characteristics of coal seams in Shanxi Formation are mainly controlled by geological factors such as sedimentary environment,paleogeography,paleotectonics and the change of accommodative space.And these factors lead to the aggregation difference between No.2 coal seam and No.4 coal seam.
