To improve operational reliability and effectively reduce potential safety hazards,the reliability analysis of disc brake,which is an important part of coal mining machine,is conducted.This paper investigates the structural reliability analysis,thermo-mechanical coupling reliability analysis,and system fault tree analysis of the disc brake.The main contents are as follows:(1)Structural reliability analysis of disc brake:The finite element model of the disc brake of the coal mining machine is established,and whereby structural analysis is conducted to solve the maximum stress of the brake disc under given parameters.By representing uncertain parameters as random parameters,the reliability analysis of the brake disc is performed by using the six sigma module in ANSYS workbench.(2)Thermal-mechanical coupling reliability analysis of disc brake:the thermal-mechanical coupling finite element model of the disc brake is established to solve the maximum temperature under given parameters.The surrogate model of thermal-mechanical coupling function of the disc brake is constructed by polynomial response surface method.Through the analysis of the constructed response surface model,it is concluded that the braking load and friction coefficient are the two factors that have the greatest influence on the temperature of the brake disc.Finally,the thermal-mechanical coupling reliability of the disc brake is conducted by dealing uncertain parameters with normal distribution.(3)Fault tree analysis of disc brake:The fault mode of main components of the disc brake and the severity of system function are analyzed,and the fault influence and cause analysis of the whole brake are carried out.Based on the theory of fault tree function structure,the fault tree model of the disc brake is established.The fault tree model is quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed by using the minimum cut set method,and then the system failure probability of the disc brake and the probability importance of bottom event are given.
