The northern section of the Lixian slope has great potential for petroleum resources, and has a resource base for deepening reservoir prediction research.Exploration practice shows that thin reservoirs are developed in this area, and conventional post-stack seismic inversion methods cannot fully utilize the relatively low frequency and high frequency contained in seismic data.Resolution cannot reach the ability to identify thin layers. Therefore, this paper uses a multi-scale post-stack seismic inversion method, using the multi-resolution function of wavelet transform to decompose the seismic signal into three different scale signals of large, medium and small, combined with the seismic wavelet optimization strategy and frequency division well Seismic calibration method, azimuth distance weighted logging modeling technology and Bayesian regularization theory are used to perform post-stack seismic inversion at different scales.According to the cost function theory, the inversion results of different scales are weighted and superimposed,so as to obtain the multi-scale mixed inversion results. Finally, the geological information, seismic data, and logging data are combined with multi-scale mixed inversion results to achieve the purpose of thin reservoir identification and fine characterization. The application results of the actual work area in the northern of the Lixian slope show that the multi-scale mixed post-stack seismic inversion technology can not only effectively distinguish the lithology, but also can identify thin reservoirs under 10 m,and inversion results and drilling results have high agreement rate.
