With the development of oil and gas exploration at home and abroad, simple structural traps have become more and more rare, and the target of oil and gas exploration has become more and more complex lithologic reservoirs. In the complex reservoir prediction of lithologic reservoirs,pre-stack AVO inversion is the most critical reservoir prediction technology for exploration and development at present. In this paper, the forward modeling theory of AVO technology is studied in depth, and the Zoeppritz exact equation and its approximate equation are understood more deeply. Then,on the basis of the four types of gas-bearing sandstones divided by predecessors, the corresponding theoretical model is designed to carry out forward modeling, and the characteristics of the four types of gas-bearing sandstones are analyzed. And these four types of gas-bearing sandstone model according to the different theoretical simulation, the forward equation using the forward modeling results of the formula for the applicability and accuracy of AVO forward approximate equation are analyzed and compared, for the practical seismic data provides an important theoretical basis, but also provides a good reference for the development of AVO.Then the approximate equation of Zoeppritz equation is used to deduce the inversion equation of AVO in the frequency domain, and the parameters of the dispersion property are obtained by using the inversion equation in the frequency domain. Finally, the pre-stack AVO inversion method is applied to the aihu 204 well area in junggar basin.Based on the statistical analysis of petrophysical crossplot, the reservoir sensitivity factors are optimized, and the oil and gas prediction is realized in the target area, which provides favorable technical support for the oil and gas exploration and development in the target area.
