As the main lifting surface of the aircraft,the wings should meet the flight requirements to provide suitable lift and ensure the stability and maneuverability of the aircraft.However,when the aircraft crosses a cloud layer containing a large number of super-cooled water droplets in actual circumstance,the wings are prone to icing on the windward surface,which changes the original aerodynamic shape of the wing that can provide lift and control flight speed,threatening the safety of the aircraft.The study of the mechanism of aircraft icing generation and the shape changes due to icing is of great importance for flight safety,verification and determination of aircraft airworthiness conditions and artificial monitoring and control of weather.In present thesis,numerical simulation and analysis of water droplet impact characteristics,ice shape and aerodynamic characteristics during wing icing are carried out.The main work is as follows:(1)Based on the N-S equation and the S-A turbulence model,a finite element model of the external flow field of the wing is established,the water droplet collection coefficient during icing is obtained based on the Euler method,a shallow water flow model of water film flow on the ice surface is established,and the scale-model NACA0012 airfoil is used as the research object to verify the reliability of the numerical calculation method.(2)Establish computer wing ONERA-M6 structural model to study the the water droplet collection coefficient and the distribution law of icing ice pattern at different spreading positions under different parameters,and to analyze the changes of aerodynamic characteristics of the wing before and after icing,and to compare the influence of different ice patterns on aerodynamic characteristics.(3)Introduce the Mundo model of super-cooled large droplet break-up splash,and compare with the ice wind tunnel test data to verify the reliability of the model.The icing distribution areas of super-cooled large droplets are compared with those of Langmuir distribution and single-size distribution,meanwhile,the influence of the change of the diameter of super-cooled large droplets on the droplet impact characteristics and icing is studied.
