The tumble strength of vanadium-titanium sinter in Chengde Iron & Steel Company is poor,the sinter is easily pulverized during the operation,the amount of return ore is large,and the ventilation of BF is bad,and these phenomenons seriously influences the stability of the blast furnace operation and the cost reduction of the iron-making system.Based on the sintering cup test,the beneficial elements is added into the sinter and the beneficial elements that improve the quality of sinter can be optimized.Based on the orthogonal method and the sintering cup test,the effects of complex elements on the quality and metallurgical properties of sinter are studied.Through the gray correlation analysis and consideatiml of cost,S-5,S-3,S-2,S-9 complex elements are selected for the orthogonal test.Adding H-8 and H-9 can improve the sinter process,adding H-1 can improve the sinter drum index and yield,RDI indicators can be lowered,and adding H-6,H-8,H-9 can enhance the reductive of sinter.The analysis of the mineral composition and structure of sinter show that after adding S-3,S-5,S-9,the binder phase of sinter and the proportion of melting corrosion structure both increase,the porphyritic-granular and porosity rate both decrease,and the quality of sinter is improved.After adding H-1 H-7,the binder phase of sinter increases,the mineral composition becomes more uniform,and the tumbler strength of sinter improves significantly.With the addition of different useful elements,the part of high-temperature metallurgical properties of sinter has been effectively improved.After the comprehensive comparison H-9 shows the best droplet performance,H-3 is the second,and then followed by H-1.Compareing effects of adding asingle element and composite elements on sinter quality and metallurgical properties.Based on the sinter productivity,drum index,RDI RI and S through the gray correlation analysis,H-9 is the best.
