In recent years,PVC flexible films have been payed more attention by people,due to its unique advantages of good processing performance and low price.However,with the continuous expansion of the application field,the higher requirements for the performance of PVC are needed.The PVC emits a large amount of toxic gas when it burns,causing a serious safety hazard,so the flame-retardant and smoke-retarding problem of the PVC flexible film material has been a research hotspot.It has become necessary to study how to prepare and produce a flexible PVC film with good flame-retardant and smoke-suppressing effects,which is of great significance for widening the application field of PVC materials.This paper first introduced the flame retardant finishing and rolling process of polyester fabrics.After understanding the technological design of flame-retardant coating finishing and the rolling process of polyester fabrics,the material compounding was conducted.According to the rolling effect of the composite film,the factors influencing the rolling effect are analyzed.To minimize the occurrence of calendering defects after learned the common defects of PVC film in the calendering process and the reasons for these defects.Based on the simple mechanical properties test of the base fabric,the fact was found that the tensile properties of the base fabric along different directions are very different,and the tensile and tearing properties of the fabric are better than those of the course.At the same time,owing to the smooth yarn surface and the uptight fabric structure,the yarn appeared a certain degree of slippage,which resulted in errors in certain test results.And the condition also appeared in the later film material tests.With focusing on the mechanical properties of different flame retardant smoke suppression systems,this study shows membrane materials appear difference greatly in their mechanical properties along different directions.The results are the tensile properties of films with adhesives are better than those of films without adhesives,and the tensile and tear properties of the films in the wale direction were better than in the row direction.It also finds the peeling performance of the film material is not only related to the peeling direction,but also related to the front and back sides of the base cloth during peeling.And the one important point is that the evenness of flame retardant adhesive has a great influence on the peeling performance of the PVC film material.After investigating flame-retardant test by means of vertical combustion method and measuring the damaged carbon length of the samples to prove the flame retardancy of different membrane materials,the paper draw the following conclusions.The flame-retardant coating treatment on the fabric has a great effect on improving the flame retardancy of the membrane.The carbon damaged by Membrane material that has not been treated with flame retardant adhesive coating is about 7cm.The carbon damaged by Membrane material that has been treated with flame retardant adhesive coating is about 5cm.There are differences in the flame retardancy of different flame retardant and smoke suppression systems.For example,the flame retardant effect of magnesium is better than that of boron flame retardant.In the meantime,the flame retardant effect of mixed flame retardant smoke suppressants is better than that of a single flame retardant.In the flame retardant test of PVC,it is found that after the flame retardant treated,the flame retardation and smoke suppression of PVC is improved,and the properties of flame retardation and smoke suppression can not be enhanced without rolling process,even though it is coated with a flame retardant smoke suppressant.In addition,by observing the smoke length on the surface of the film material,the study found that the smoke suppression effect of the magnesium-based flame retardant smoke suppression system was not as good as that of the boron-based smoke suppression effect.
